The St. Alipiy Icon-Painting School is a private institution for further professional education dedicated to training icon painters for the Russian Orthodox Church.
Established in 1993, the school is state-registered and licensed to operate as an educational institution.
We have the blessing of Metropolitan Juvenal of Krutitsy and Kolomensky.
The school is led by the founder and head, Archpriest Vitaly Shumilov.
Our doors are open to Orthodox Christians of all ages, nationalities, and citizenships.
Today, we offer a flexible learning path: a distance-learning program with a professional retraining track and additional online courses.
